What I Believe
This is my personal statement of faith!
GOD:
I believe in one true God creator of heaven and earth. I Believe He is all powerfull,
all knowing and a merciful God, and above all He is a loving God.
JESUS CHRIST:
I believe Jesus is the one and only begotten Son of God.
I believe that He died on the cross and shed His blood so I could be forgiven of my sins,
and have eternal life.
HOLY SPIRIT:
I believe deity of the Holy Spirit. I believe He abides in us,
illuminating the Word for our understanding and guiding us in daily contact.
TRINITY:
I believe in the Trinity of God, the Father;
God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit)
I believe that these three entities’, though separate, are also one.
SCRIPTURE:
I believe that the Holy Bible was written by men who where divinely inspired.
While a number of different men put different portions of the
Bible into writing, there is only one author – (God)
RESURRECTION:
I believe in the crucified body of Jesus Christ.
I believe that He was bodily raised from the tomb.
SALVATION:
I believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth,
and the life and that no one shall get to the Father except through the Son (Jesus Christ).
I believe that the only way to get to heaven is by personally accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
I believe that our salvation comes not from works but is a gift of God
and believing in what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary.
